A Look Back, A Leap Forward: How We’re Scaling Impact Across Africa

The Blog

From stages with policy makers, localized activations to lead generation campaigns, here is what we have built, led, and learned in the first 6months of 2025.

We began the year with one key question in mind: Can we scale without losing our edge?

So far, the results are speaking for themselves – Yes, we can.

We kicked off 2025 at full throttle, and six months in, we’re not just busy, we’re building. No two days are ever the same and we have quickly learned to take every challenge we face as an opportunity to learn something new.

A day in the life.

If you’ve worked in an agency, you know some of the best days never go as planned.

You could be building a client deck at 9am, managing a production at 2pm, and finalizing talking points for the Cabinet Secretary by 6pm. Sometimes, you’re doing all three at once, but if you love the chaos and thrive in it, that’s where the magic happens.

This year, we’ve worked across government corridors, summit stages and sat in boardrooms bringing clarity to complex briefs and scale to ambitious ideas.

1. DTPS Forum & Awards 2025 in Kenya

In February, our flagship product, the Digital Transformation Public Sector Forum & Awards returned for its second edition.

  • Held in Mombasa, DTPS convened over 250 delegates, including ICT decision-makers from both the public and private sectors, CEOs, Principal Secretaries, Board Chairpersons, and senior government officials. Among the key dignitaries was Hon. William Kabogo, the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of ICT & Digital Economy in Kenya. The forum provided a platform to discuss, share ideas, learn, and explore solutions aimed at supporting the government’s efforts to enhance service delivery through e-government initiatives.

More than just an event, it served as a milestone in advancing the government’s digital transformation agenda, recognizing and awarding public sector organizations that consistently leverage technology to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and service delivery to citizens.

And because we built it collaboratively with the Ministry of ICT and Digital in Kenya, we ensured it didn’t just start conversations but also moved them forward.

2. EdTech Mondays Africa

In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, we co-produced six editions of EdTech Mondays Africa, which all aired on CNBC Africa and the Mastercard Foundation YouTube page.

Our role? Strategic topic development, compelling content creation, expert panel curation and precision editing of the final production.

Each conversation brought together a diverse panel of experts who tackled a different layer of the education-tech conversation, aligning with recommendations that came from the 2024 Mastercard Foundation EdTech Conference.

Across every script and shoot, one truth emerged: Africa’s EdTech opportunity isn’t theoretical, it’s here and now.

3. Landmark Client Engagements

Additionally, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with visionary brands across sectors and geographies:

● Leads acquisition campaign for Kaspersky in Accra that brought together IT decision makers from different sectors.

● B2B customer engagement for 186 Digital and Turnitin tailored for education institutions and focused on promoting academic integrity, originality and preventing plagiarism

Envision Global and IBM: Convening that focused on how insurers can modernize and optimize their operations through smart technology applications.

● We published a compelling SYSPRO customer case study showcasing how Greydale played a pivotal role in accelerating their sales cycle. This was achieved by strategically targeting manufacturers through email and telephone outreach, we helped expand SYSPRO’s pipeline and directly contributed to a significant increase in booked deals.

Each engagement required something different, but all demanded the same thing: Local intelligence, alignment, and flawless execution.

4. Connected Africa Summit 2025

AWS did not just show up at Connected Africa Summit 2025, they stood out. Our team led the activation of the AWS sponsorship, curating an experience that was context-aware, brand-consistent, and impossible to ignore.

From design to delivery, we didn’t just check the box, we built a moment. And our role was both operational and intellectual.

● Our CEO on the Main Stage of Connected Africa

Greydale Africa’s CEO Lavinniah Muthoni moderated a high-impact panel on what it truly takes to build sustainable tech companies in Africa.

Her message was clear: “In Africa, sustainability isn’t just about size. It’s about solving real problems, staying resilient, investing in people, and growing with purpose.”

5. AWS CTO Werner Vogels’ Africa Tour

When one of the world’s top tech minds visits Africa, the experience should match the ambition.

We are proud to have supported Dr. Werner Vogels’ first Africa tour; from Lagos to Kigali and Nairobi. Throughout this Sub-Saharan activation, we made sure every stop counted.

From fireside chats to media interviews and ecosystem forums, we helped translate a global brand into an authentically African experience.

What We Know Now

1. Execution is still our loudest pitch. Anyone can write a good deck. Not everyone can deliver under pressure, at scale, and across borders. We can.

2. Africa demands range not replication. What lands in Nairobi may miss in Kigali, and what excites Lagos may not resonate in Dar es Salaam. We’ve built the fluency to navigate this complexity, and we are getting better at it every day.

3. Client service is a high-performance sport. It demands intention, discipline, speed, resilience, and surgical calm. We don’t settle for average. We play for awesome.

What’s Next?

If the first half of 2025 was about bold moves, the second is about breakthrough moments.

Here’s what’s ahead:

● Expanding our presence across more African markets

● Deepening partnerships that go beyond the brief

● Telling more African stories with more conviction

Whether it’s a product rollout, leads acquisition campaign or a policy roundtable discussion, our approach stays the same: Do the Work. Raise the bar & deliver impact.

To our clients, your trust fuels our ambition.

To our team, thank you for turning ideas into outcomes, and outcomes into impact.

Here is to the next 6months of 2025.
